The original album title to this was The River of Piss.   I got it to a rough draft of about 12 songs. I had spent several days listening to a burned CD. I filled several pages with notes of what I wanted to do to which song.  I wrote about what songs I still wanted to do, how I was going to do the lyrics and if I was going to use another vocalist.  I had huge numbers of layers I wanted to replace or redo entirely.  Song structure changes.  A hell of a lot.

Then my hard drive died and I had no backups of the master files.  Thus, the title The Death of it All.  All that was left was the CD copy of the exports (which weren't mastered by any means) and an assortment of various other tracks that weren't related.

The tracks Blackout and Trauma were made out of existing tracks and mixed around.

Mushroom Haze and Outdoor Encounter are fan love to the Mario franchise.  The first being very basic and the second being more strange.

The version of Black Depths present was once titled (Left Right idea mix.)  The original version of it was discarded due to it's desgination primarily in the concept album which was going to be The River of Piss.  In what the CD became, it had no place.

Collapsed was previously a remix of Collapsing Inward but during the final phases of this album's production it was just made it's own track.

SIlence was created as an entry in a context pitting 100% software based instrumentals vs. 100% hardware based instrumentals.  In the end those who were judging it called it a tie.  I think that's a win for the Software side more than anything.
