Bitter and Betrayed

Keep lying and grinning your crooked smile
Preach to me another denial.
Make promises that you won't keep
I'll try to beleive and take that leap
I want to beleive every word
You would lie? that's just absurd

     Keep giving me your bullshit
     You're such a good liar
     Feed me more flare to kindle desire
     Don't let the flare die, you won't have the power
     You raise your voice to make me cower
     Think I'm too bitter to stand up now?
     You no longer scare me, you just confound

So much double-talk, no exposition.
Such a fucking crock, where's inquisition? .
Anyone trust worthy even exsist?
Here we go with another twist
More lies come, how far will it go?
More shit to fester, more will soon grow

Try to beat me down, I'll always repair
Shouldn't suprise me that you aren't who I thought
So used to being wrong, again I am caught.

     The flare has gone, this time it won't work
     Too bitter now for it to hurt
     Can I find the strength not to go numb?
     May be quiet now, but soon it will come
