Full Moon - by Noctuary

return to Noctuary's poetry index

I let him take me under the full moon’s light

She, his only witness to his sin

Bringing a goddess to her knees

Degrading her with his ritual

Forcing her open

And taking her secrets

Finding her darkness within

The stars dimmed their lights

The moon shrouded herself in darkness

Mourning the death of their goddess

For she had found her god

And was no longer alone
